Dear Main Street Family,
It is hard to believe that it has been 17 years since the terrorist attacks on our nation in 2001. I am sure you remember that morning as we all watched and could not fathom what was happening. Today, I reminded again of all the lives lost and all the families impacted. I am reminded of the bravery and courage of the first responders who ran to the danger. I am reminded of the brave passengers on board Flight 93 who fought back and prevented another attack on our nation’s capital. I am reminded of the many men and women of our nation’s military who bravely took the fight to our enemies on foreign soil in the days following. I am reminded of how our nation came together in those days following September 11th to heal and rebuild. I am reminded of how our churches were filled the following Sunday following September 11 seeking the God upon Whom this nation was founded. I am reminded today of how much we still need God as a nation! As we remember this anniversary today, I ask you to say a prayer for America. Pray for revival. Let us draw close to our Savior today.
